Silva 70P Universal mount marine compass. Designed to screw into place on the pre-moulded mounts found on many sea kayaks, these have been around for ages and have set the standard in kayaking compasses. Being screwed into place means it is permanently fixed and there when you need it. Bold white scale against a black background makes the scale clearly legible, even with a headtorch at night and the compass housing can be adjusted for magnetic variation before you set off.
