The Whetman Equipment Pressure spraydeck is made from tough 4mm neoprene and is glued together and then stitched on both sides. This result after stitching is 100% waterproof and so does not require waterproof tape to be applied over it. This is achieved by using a special machine & a curved needle which does not penetrate through the neoprene layer.
The pressure deck has hand brushed thick latex underside which you can see from the ribbed appearance which is an indication of high-quality hand brushed latex. This helps to grip the cockpit of your kayak for a bombproof grip.
